Elizabeth A. Schlueter

Owner & Partner

In 1992 Elizabeth Schlueter graduated from the McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis and began serving families in the area of Wills, Trusts, Guardianships, and Estate Settlement. Her legal career began in a small law firm in LaGrange and moved to Fort Wayne where she served as Trust Officer and Associate Trust Legal Counsel for what is now known as JP Morgan Chase Bank, NA. As she continued with the bank, she had the opportunity to work in every area of fiduciary service, including tax and estate administration. Her banking career culminated as National Head of Wealth Advisory Services.  Her responsibilities included leading a team of professionals located throughout the United States who worked with clients to create and implement estate plans and structures to ensure a family’s financial success was maintained. This experience allowed her to develop the trust, estate and tax technical skills needed to provide insightful planning and execution for clients. Her ability to connect with people and explain complex concepts simply allows her to translate these skills into service for families all across the country. Her most recent prior experience as the Chief Family Office Strategist, Oxford Financial Group, Ltd., and the Chief Fiduciary Officer for The Trust Company of Oxford allowed her to continue her passion to help clients fulfill their financial legacy for their families and communities.  In addition to her work with clients, Elizabeth has shared her knowledge in several noted publications; including the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, Financial Advisor, Bloomberg News and Forbes.com. She is also an accomplished speaker on will and trust planning issues.

 

She, her husband Steve, and their four daughters enjoy spending time traveling, watching movies and making dinner together. Elizabeth enjoys reading, cooking, baking and spending time with her extended family.

Rhonda Yoder Breman

Owner & Partner

Rhonda began her legal career in 1987 and is experienced in the areas of estate planning, trust and estate litigation, complex business litigation, and appeals. Prior to going to law school, Rhonda was a paralegal and a certified family law mediator. During law school, she was certified as a legal intern and began representing clients under the supervision of attorneys. Upon graduating law school in 2002, she began practicing as an attorney with the Indianapolis law firm of Bose McKinney & Evans LLP. In 2009, Rhonda joined JPMorgan Chase & Company as a Vice President and Senior Trust Officer where she worked with clients in the private bank, administering their trusts and advising them concerning all types of estate, trust, and wealth planning strategies. In 2012, Rhonda formed Breman Law LLC in order to provide an individualized, personal approach to estate planning for clients in an affordable yet sophisticated manner. To ensure her clients’ goals and needs are fully met, Rhonda also has  often works closely with their other professional advisors such as accountants and financial consultants. Rhonda also works with other attorneys and law firms on a co-counsel or independent contractor basis providing litigation support in a variety of civil litigation areas such as trust & estate disputes, commercial business matters, employment issues, and anti-trust matters. 

Outside the office, Rhonda enjoys spending time with her two children, outdoor activities such as hiking and cycling, and traveling. She is also an active community advocate. Rhonda’s current community activities include Board Chair for The Villages (a non-profit provider of foster care, adoption, and family related services), and supporting the Children’s Bureau, Inc. and Families First. As a result of her philanthropic efforts, Rhonda received The Villages’ Kids Outstanding Donor award in 2013, the Alice M. Ross “Salute to Family” Award from Families First in 2009, and in 2008 she received the Pro Bono Award from the Indianapolis Bar Association.
